NZ Prime Minister, Helen Clark, is opening the long awaited Motatapu track for outdoor enthusiasts connecting Wanaka to Arrowtown tomorrow! (Thursday 13). Seeing Shania Twain did not want the track passing her door step, it was part of the property purchase agreement to have a slight detour in the track as privacy which was at Shania's expense. Trampers huts and facilities were also erected as part of the deal.
Boy! Wouldnt it be a dream if Shania was to open the track or even just being present to get a bit of gratitude from the thankful community?
Anyway I look forward to reading about it all in the paper on Friday.
