TORONTO, /CNW/ - Proving that she's 'still the one', Shania Twain is voted first place in the Schick Quattro for Women Best Canadian Legs poll. Shania walks away with the top honour after being voted the best in the nation by 34 per cent of Canadians.

As for the best male legs, Olympic diver, Alexandre Despatie, at 19 per cent of the national vote, was steps ahead of the others with his shaved-for-the-sport legs. (48 per cent of respondents in Quebec gave Alexandre a top score.) Runner up, Keanu Reeves at 14 per cent wasn't far behind. After Keanu, Canadians chose sports hero Steve Nash (13 per cent) as their main leg man.

The Schick Quattro for Women Best Canadian Legs poll revealed that the most "leg men" live in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Men in Manitoba and Saskatchewan were the most likely to identify themselves as "leg men" (46 per cent). Over one-third of Ontario men consider themselves "leg men" while only 13 per cent of men in Alberta would say the same.

lol, yeah when I first read the news on Tommy's I found it amusing, first her butt in jeans, now her legs top winner and she always has to be humble and say things against herself. She's always had a hangup on her legs being "short" but I have heard several people say she is crazy. As much as she likes to wear the sexy outfits, she does not like to give much exposure to her legs.

And don't forget she was voted in a colgate poll to have the best smile three years in a row plus she fell short finishing second to Peter Jennings as having the most pleasant speaking voice.

Wow, 34% says to me Shania you got no worries, lol. Don't be so hard on yourself.

Actually Shania won the female portion of that best fit jeans with 40 some percent of the vote! Jessica Simpson came second with 19%. That poll included all international choices and James Dean won for the men. Not bad for how long he's been gone. This leg poll had similar results with Shania hammering the competition. I could have easily told them that.

As shy as Shania is in showing leg, how on earth did the few times she did give a glimpse, worthy her of smashing the competition who has bared more, lol?

Hmm... I don't know but that is a major put down knowing all the lovely entertainment ladies that exist from there.

I find this poll amazing yet as we know Shania is leg shy approaching 43 and mainly out of the limelight the last three years, but people don't forget. Shania still the one.

Not hard to figure out that Shick(the razor company) who were involved with this poll wanted a pretty high profile woman to win...As I said...It was a stupid post of mine...Oh well something different than divorce talk I guess...Bob

Shania spent so much of her youth hiding the fact she developed early and wore baggy shirts so she wouldn't bounce when she ran etc. Now she's not afraid to embrace her body, except for her legs.

I reckon that there is an understatement.

Besides her legs, Shania has said, she doesn't like her bum and that it's kinda flat. Someone pinched her butt at her Up! concert and it really ticked her off.

Shania didn't like it or that sort of behavior "treatment" of women, but she does handle these type of situations well, unlike Faith who makes a scene, huge spectacle, lol. Yup, I said it.

Shania sort of laughed about the incident afterwards and that guy probably did it for attention, some people will try anything to get on stage with her.

It is a cool movie Tina, one of my favorites. I love country humor, the car chases and poking fun of the law. Classic.

Like Dukes Of Hazzard, they should have got Shania tp play the part of Daisy now that we know she has best legs, lol, rather than airy Jessica Simpson playing Daisy in the movie. Or at least Faith Hill, she's tall. The movie was nothing like the show.

I know what you mean and her eyes are another nice feature, she says they are green, but I would best decsribe them as hazel like mine.

anyway that guy was totally red in the face,shania acted pretty cool.
