They refer to her as a popstar, when really she is a country artist as that's where she got her first opportunity to make a record, in country music.

Yes, she is first and foremost a country star. It is surprising to see in print her being called a popstar. And yes, she is canadien.

I can tell 'ya these ladies i met in the plane on my way to Canada were pleasantly surprised that i was a fan and they were all proud of shania and
of course they all seemed nice decent people.smile
