Chad, the lead singer of Nickelback thanked Mutt Lange in one of his acceptance speeches last night at the Juno Awards in Vancouver. (The Juno's are like the Canadian version of The Grammy Awards)
Anyway, interestingly enough, Chad thanked Mutt for not only the album, but for moving into his house for 5 1/2 months.
I've seen Chad's house once on 'Cribs' or one of those shows. Huge house and many, many, many cars and motorbikes.
They must have had fun.

Well if his house is in Canada that could have been over the summer when they did the cd.I have never heard anything about weather Mutt was still with Anne-Marie or not.I know on this site some have said yes others no but nothing in the media.
I read that Shania went to Canada right after she caught Mutt cheating. Maybe Mutt moved in with Chad to be near her right after it happened because he was hoping she would change her mind. Maybe he was trying to apologize and it didn't work out so after the album was done he went back to New Zealand with Anne Marie who knows. But I think Mutt and Shania were both in Canada right after the announcement of the breakup if that is when it happened. I think I remember reading somewhere that Eja spent time with his dad in Canada around the same time Shania was there with Eja and staying with her sister. Just my thoughts. Not sure on dates and things though. Someone should do a little research on it and figure out a time frame on that one. Not that it really matters. Well i think Mutt must have gone to Canada shortly after Shania but i think it was more to be near his son.There was a report last summer about Mutt and Eja at a bank in Canada.Nickelback is from Canada so it would make sense he stayed there.Does anyone know where Chads house is in Canada?

Maybe Mutt realized what a mistake he made with Marie-Anne and decided it would be best if they they lived apart for a while until he could get his head sorted out, after all didn't Star magazine say that he said how sorry he was to Shania and had asked her for forgiveness, but there was very little chance of any reconciliation....

Well i think he wouldn't be the first person to find out the grass isn't always greener on the other side.I didn't see the story in star but you have to take anything that magazine says with a grain of salt.
Is Chad the lead singer of Nickelback? Isn't he suppose to drink to excess and their song lyrics are suppose to be x-rated? Great influences for Eja and his father.
I don't think anybody knows for sure if Mutt and Anne Marie are still together.If Chad is a heavy drinker it would be odd for Mutt to stay with him considering Mutt doesn't drink,and there is nothing worst than to be sober around somebody that is drunk.But who knows, some mansions are so big you probably could live there and not run into one and another.Maybe there was a guest house on the estate.
This does not make sense. Why would Mutt start a relationship with Anne Marie when he knew he would be spending months living in Canada, working on a record with Chad at his house?

Maybe the relationship had been going on for a while before he started working with Nickelback. Maybe Shania and Mutt were separated before Shania found out about Marie and were trying to work it out and then he got caught with Marie again.And then Shania decided to get divorced. Who knows? Fred did say in a interview Mutt had broken up two family's.I believe Fred and Ann filed for divorce months if not a year before the Shania Mutt split.So i guess he thinks the affair was going on for awhile.As far as Mutt starting something with Anne knowing he was going to Canada,maybe it was just a fling.If she was going threw a divorce and Mutt was unhappy that maybe all there was.It could be the same for Shania and Fred.It was over the summer that Mutt was in Canada so maybe Anne spent some time with him there.I know some people have said Mutt and Anne where in NewZealand but i don't think anybody knows for sure if their even still together.

On google today they were talking about Nickelback and that Mutt wrote 2 songs for them. They describe the one called afternoon as a drinking song. So much for Sant Mat

Well i think the children have to play a part in where they live.Here in the USA courts usually don't just let one spouse move to another state without permission of the court.You could lose custody if you want to move.
