This was a very good Christmas. We had an opportunity to spend the evening with a star to be. This is our private video with Shania and our relatives and friends. It was a memorable evening. Hope you all enjoy.

Wow. I am sure that Shania would not be happy with this video being leaked. A relative or "friend" leaked it perhaps?

I don't know why Shania would object to this being on the web, because it's no different really to the earlier footage fans have already seen of her at Deerhurst or the first album cover shoot with the Wolf.

Shania knew there was a video camera pointed at her face. I'm sure she will laugh her head off when she sees this, unless she already has seen it.

wow! Different teeth, different hair - same talent and star quality.

I'm sure this brings back the memories for Eilleen!

It is all about the word "context". Was this a private party for friends and family?? Then, yes she would mind this being leaked.

I love seeing the early stuff.  I wish someone would post more of the Deerhurst performances.  I would love a good quality DVD with good sound of her performing there.  That would be an awesome find.  I wonder why the resort didn't some of those.  There has to be some out there somewhere you would think.
Would be cool to see.

I wonder why they chose to release it now, after almost 18 years.  They are not profiting from the release.  And they say more video clips are coming.  It just is strange - sort of like what has been going on with Shania since her breakup.  She is simply confusing the hell out of us.  BRAVO!

I agree. I am just curious who the person(s) is behind the release of these videos. And the whole, "more clips are coming" thing is also weird as well. And like you said, why wait this long to release it?

And what kind of an event was it? A private party? Family gathering? It was before she was famous, so it was most likely family and friends.

And yes, it has all been confusing!

They could have had several reasons for not releasing it for so long. It was 1991, they probably had recorded it on a VHS tape and forgot about it. Then they had found the video but didn't have an oppurtunity to digitize it. I have a lot of VHS recordings myself and I remember I recorded something but there are lots of them and I haven't watched those tapes for ages. And even if I did, I wouldn't be able to digitize them to upload anywhere. I think this can be the reason.

You may have a point - I have dozens of VCR tapes awaiting conversion to DVD. I do believe in taking my time also.
