Created by soldiers for soldiers, the charity helps ensure soldiers' homes aren't foreclosed, their electricity stays on, and their families are safe and healthy.

The celebrity spokesperson for the campaign is Pittsburgh Steelers safety Troy Polamalu.

The cause hits home for Polamalu. His grandfather, as well as several uncles and cousins, have served in the armed forces. “I experienced first-hand tragedies, psychological and emotional effects of war through my own family members,” Polamalu said in an e-mail. One of Polamalu’s cousins was deeply affected by “Gulf War Syndrome” upon returning from combat. He eventually died.

The auction starts on January 30, and a slew of celebs are already signed up. If you don't see your favorite musician, actor or sports star on the site, there is a way to ask them to join.

The previous TwitChange produced more than 30 million hits in 30 days and raised nearly half a million dollars to build a home for disabled children in Haiti.
