I wonder if Shania is attending the CMT Music Awards tonight in Nashville? The awards air live on CMT at 8:00pm ET from Bridgestone Arena. Or maybe Shania is attending the CMA Music Festival which runs June 9-12. HOPEFULLY this is also a business trip to meet with her record label (Mercury Nashville) to discuss her new album.

Saturday’s soiree presents Blake Shelton, Florida Georgia Line, Cole Swindell, Chris Young, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, the Marshall Tucker Band and Steven Tyler.
Closing the festival Sunday night is a torrent of talent that includes Luke Bryan, Keith Urban, Little Big Town, Brett Eldredge, Thomas Rhett, Exile and musician-comic Ray Stevens.

What the hell is she doin' in Colorado?? She should be in the studio or doing something album-related, not resting somewhere exotic.

Family of missing New York woman asks Shania Twain for help
By Cristina Corbin | Fox News | June 29, 2016
Rachael Mattice (Hamilton County Sheriff's Office)
The family of a missing New York woman is asking country music star Shania Twain to help bring attention to the case as police continue to search for the 24-year-old who disappeared one week ago from a remote campsite in the Adirondack Mountains.
Rachael Mattice was last seen on June 22 after she left her parents home in Johnstown, N.Y., for the family's camp in Wells, a remote mountain town some 53 miles away. No one has seen or heard from Mattice since then, and the family is asking Twain, the young woman's idol, for help publicizing the case.
"It’s not her nature to just take off," said the woman's mother, Wendy Mattice, adding that the two communicated with each other multiple times a day.
"She has no enemies," Mattice told FoxNews.com. "She's a very loving person."
Rachael Mattice had dinner at her parents home last Wednesday before driving in her silver jeep to the family's camper in Wells. According to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, Mattice was last seen in downtown Wells at 9:15 p.m. that same night.
Mattice, a home health care aide, had recently moved to the camp -- which has no cellphone service -- to work in the area, according to her family.
Before heading up a hill to the heavily wooded campsite, Mattice sent her mother a text message.
"She said, 'I’m at the bottom of the hill. Goodnight and I love you,'" Wendy Mattice told FoxNews.com. That was the last known communication from the young woman.
After not hearing from Mattice, the woman's father, David, drove to the camper on Friday at approximately 6 p.m. Mattice's vehicle was there, but she was nowhere to be found.
Since then, authorities have launched an all-out search for the woman using helicopters and dogs.
On Wednesday, Mattice's longtime friend, Cynthina Nellis, wrote to Shania Twain on Instagram, asking the singer for help in bringing attention to the case.
"You are Rachael's favorite country artist. She absolutely adores you," Nellis wrote. "Her parents used to call her Shania when she was little because she would sing your music all the time."
"I'm reaching out to you in hopes that you can make one of Rachael's dreams come true by sending a message out to her," asked Nellis.
A representative for Twain was not immediately available when contacted Wednesday.
The family, meanwhile, is pleading with the public for any information about their daughter, who is 5 feet, 3 inches tall with brown hair and blue eyes.
"We want her to know everybody is searching and praying for her safe return," Wendy Mattice said. "We love her from the bottom of our hearts."
Anyone with tips in the case is urged to contact the Hamilton County Sheriffs Office at 518-548-3113.
I've heard the story of Rachael Mattice & urge anyone with information to come forward to the police & help her return to her family. Thinking of you Rachael.
She's in switzerland so maybe the album is really finished and she's taking a break before the storm
I don't know. Maybe? But most artists wait until the album is about to be released before they go on a full-blown media tour. They might do one or two media appearances shortly after the lead single is released.

Shania doesn't spend much time in Northern Canada these days, just seems like Switzerland and the islands. LOL!
Nice pic.

The most streamed, most meme-ed — and by those standards, the most popular — performer in the world made an overdue return to Music City over the weekend.
Hip-hop sensation Drake's "Summer Sixteen" tour stopped at Bridgestone Arena on Sunday. In honor of "The 6" — the Canadian rapper's nickname for his native Toronto — we honed on six defining points of the sold-out show.
His Canada and Tennessee roots collide (with Shania)
Drake is famously a native of Toronto, Canada, and rarely does he finish a verse before singing the praises of his hometown. But he also has significant ties to Tennessee. His father, musician Dennis Graham, lives in Memphis, and Drake visited the city frequently as a kid. Graham was in the building on Sunday, as well as several other family members. By extension, Drake considered everyone in the Tennessee audience to be his "family."
And his Canada and Tennessee roots mixed together in a one-of-a-kind way on Sunday, as Canadian country star Shania Twain — who's been working on new music in Nashville — came to the show and visited Drake backstage.
Drake (@champagnepapi) on Instagram: "My WCW (Woman Crush Wednesday) even though it's Monday. Shania. 🌹✅😍"
"I grew up a fan," he told the audience. "I just want to say that, like, Shania Twain came to my show tonight, you know what I'm saying Nashville? So this next set, right here, I'm doing this for Shania. This is my love set for Shania, right here."
Even in person, he rules social media
When Drake came into view of the packed house in Nashville, finally, the star they'd seen in YouTube videos, memes and GIFs for years was right in front of them, in the flesh. So what did they do? Naturally, they pulled out their phones and beamed him right back onto social media. Snapchat was the app of choice for this crowd, and those documenting the night were pointing the camera at themselves as much as the stage.
Future's halftime show
Imagine going to see The Rolling Stones, and halfway through their concert, Mick Jagger announces, 'Ladies and Gentlemen, David Bowie!' Then Bowie does all of his big hits plus a few odd ones, and then Mick joins him to do their cover of "Dancing in the Street." It would be pandemonium in that arena, right?
That's essentially what happened when Drake — who'd really whipped the Nashville crowd into a frenzy in the first hour — ceded the stage to Atlanta rap star Future for a mini-solo set. Future has chalked up a ton of smashes, but unlike Drake, not enough of that appeal has translated to the stage. Still, he was deployed brilliantly on Sunday, injecting substantial street cred into the production while giving Drake a good half-hour to catch his breath.
An electric crowd
"I know we're living through some crazy times in America right now," Drake told his audience at the end of the show "But I just want you to understand what tonight was. See, tonight, in this building, we had 14,000 beautiful people, from all races and all places getting together, drinking, smoking and enjoying music and showing love, and I appreciate that. So I just want you to take this concept right here, and apply it to your life, and I promise, that's how the world's going to keep spinning. We gotta love each other and protect each other."
Drake follows his own schedule
How charismatic and captivating is Drake as a performer? When he hit the stage at 9:25 p.m., it seemed as if everyone in the arena had instantly forgotten how impatient they'd felt after waiting nearly an hour and a half between him and the opening acts. Later, he proved to be a master showman, as he may have made up a battle between him and Bridgestone Arena.
"What they try and do, is when we're in buildings, they might call downstairs and be like, 'You know, you guys are over curfew. Drake has to get off stage.' And that's kind of what's happening right now, unfortunately," he told the crowd a few minutes after 11.
"It's just like, all due respect. I love the building, everybody in here, and all of that, but I gotta let them know, whoever's calling down, I don't give a f___. I'm with Nashville, Tennessee. I can't leave you! I'll never leave you."
He continued to perform just past 11:30 p.m., but it's worth noting that Madonna was able to perform until 1 a.m. earlier this year, with no apparent pushback from the venue.
Hit parade
Drake has too many hits to mention, and too many for him perform in one night, at least in full. Highlights included "Hotline Bling," "One Dance," "Started From the Bottom," "Controlla," "Hold On, We're Going Home," "Know Yourself," "The Motto" and "Back to Back."
***Shania is still in Nashville. She and fellow County music artist, Wynonna Judd, attended the Dixie Chicks concert on Wednesday night (Aug. 17) in Nashville at Bridgestone Arena.

Well, it looks like Robin Leach was right after all.
She's in Nashville since last week now so I guess something album related is definitely goin' on.
Last night I dreamt about her: she was in southern Italy at the beach and there were Fred and Eja with her. I was there with them, too and we spent a lot of time together. She even sang her new songs for me
It was definitely a dream
Yes. Here's the photo and the message: "Shania Twain esteve no show da cantora canadense Celine Dion noite passada em Québec."
Yep, looks like Shania left Nashville and is traveling again. I'm not sure what this means album-wise. Is she finished recording her new album or just taking another break? In the above picture, Shania is with Celine's orchestra.

Why would anyone waste their time writing all these stupid articles???
Getting back to Shania, I wonder why she isn't posting anything on Twitter or Facebook? Tanya said if she has been working on a video or photo shoot maybe she doesn't want to reveal her "new look" yet. Even if that is the case, she could still post messages without pictures of herself.

Usually when she doesn't post pictures with herself, she takes photos of her pets. I guess she's not at home to do that. But there isn't even a picture with a sunset or some beautiful place. I think she doesn't post anything intentionally. I guess it has something to do with her new album. She doesn't want to give us any clues on where she is and what she is doing.
I'm shocked by the photo. Not only she hasn't anyhow changed but also no information on where she is and what she is doing. Just a weird hair and face.
