Nicki Minaj, Shania Twain & More Squeeze In For a VIP Backstage Pic at Coachella

The exact circumstances behind this star-studded backstage pic at Coachella on Friday (April 13) remain unknown, but whatever they were, we're grateful that they brought Nicki Minaj, Shania Twain, The Weeknd, Quavo, French Montana, Oscar-nominated actor Timothee Chalamet and more together.

The group counts one headliner in their ranks, as The Weeknd closed out the slate of performances with his top-billed set for the first day of the Indio, Calif. festival.

It's truly impressive to see how much talent could squeeze into one Instagram pic, and Chalamet very much so appears to be living his best life in the company of country, pop and hip-hop's finest. With a simple caption, Minaj assures everyone that, yes, Twain is "so dope in real life." (Twain is no stranger to the fields of the Empire Polo Club, either: She headlined Coachella's sister festival, the country-driven Stagecoach, in 2017.) At a listening party for her album Now last year, Twain did mention that she’d like to collaborate with Minaj. “You know who I really love is Nicki Minaj,” she said. “I love her. She’s just so raw and vicious and amazing.”
