Has anyone compiled a list of all the different remixes that exist for the songs on The Woman in Me and Come On Over? There were so many released on various CD singles in different countries, and the labeling was not especially cohesive in the early days, so it's sometimes hard to tell which ones may have been duplicates (or were given a different name later) without access to the actual audio.
That was admittedly a very big ask. I'm guessing I'll have better luck asking specific questions. I'll start with (what I think are) fairly simple ones.
From what I can tell, the "basic" versions of You're Still The One (before you get into all of the fancy remixes) are:
1. Domestic album version (Country)
2. Original international album version (Pop)
3. Revised international album version / Radio Edit With Intro (Pop)
4. Radio Edit W/O Intro (Country)
5. Radio Edit W/O Intro (Pop)
So question #1:
Is the version of YSTO currently marked "International Mix" on streaming platforms from the original international album, or is it "Radio Edit With Intro" from the revised version? I'm assuming it's the single/revised version, but not sure.
Question #2:
On the streaming versions of Greatest Hits, both domestic and international versions use the country version of YSTO "Radio Edit W/O Intro" (that is, with no spoken intro and the steel guitar bridge). Was this true on the original CD releases? Did the international release actually include the country version instead of the pop one?
