Ive looked at a few message boards and I disagree, I would say that looks like the best fan board out there. There are many genuine fans and it is known that Shania's band use it. The rules are strict but that makes it better, look at the abuse people get on this board. I'm surprised you said that, why dont you give it a go?

They're ripped on me numerous times for absolutely zero reason-- just because I'm associated w/the OFC, which a couple of the forums owners hate, so they keep ragging on it til everyone agress w/them.  Actually, it's like that w/every subject.  You do as they please or you're banned.  A lot of people on this board (the OFC, STC, STNAOFC) don't like the forums, and many have been kicked off, including Tommy!  I don't bother w/that site anymore.  But, if you enjoy it, all the more power to ya.  ;)

Thats not right if they ripped on you personally although I guess it wasnt everybody there doing that surely. If you are working for the fan club people will be aggrieved at the way the fan club has treated them, and we are talking money here, so you can kind of understand that, there is no excuse for a fan club which makes promises, people pay and they dont get. Maybe you dont need that kind of aggro, I presume the fan club pay you for what you do? Maybe people ripped into you because you represent the fan club which rips them off. The Shaniaforum is strict but they dont have the same problems there as I see here when I log in, members attacking each other and other members with extreme viewpoints. Generally the atmosphere seems nice and good for fans.

Is that what I said? Good because I still think it! If you like an artist (I'm having my doubts whether you actually do like her at all) then you should be glad that artist still wants to make music for you. There is no deal in place where they HAVE to do anything. She COULD retire and never worry about a thing again, she could have done that after The Woman In Me but did she? So yes you are lucky and should be grateful. For the cost of a CD, virtually nothing, she has given you YEARS of enjoyment and happiness. She owes you nothing, you have to understand it and yes if she does give you more then you are privaledged because she doesnt have to and doesnt need to.

Anyway can't you have a civilized conversation with anyone? No offense but I wouldn't let you be a member on that forums either if I were in control of it, you are the cat amonst the pigeons.

In a nutshell - don't buy her album. Problem solved.

And I probably have been  a fan longer than you.
I am a fan of her music, I don't worship her like you.

so true chaosinc, I agree that no one is perfect,but we shouldn't cross the line,I mean to me Shania has done enough......ok I so want her back but not in an offensive way!!...... we can't just gather against her in her first crisis ( maybe she's havin' some crisis!! she's only a human!!) , I will always support her..... I hope she gets back real soon...
