In what is only the beginning of alot of "new" news I thought this timbit might shed some light on alot of rumours as to what Mutt is up to,where he has been this summer, and how chilly the air might be between himself and Shania. I have private messaged Tommy with this info plus alot of other detail AND the source that he can confirm it with. Tommy is very aware of this individuals credentials and I am very sure will confirm that this source has the goods on alot of Shania's activities. I should point out that I personally have no idea as to its accuracy and am simply relying on the source which I have provided to Tommy. Having said that I will start by simply saying that he spent alot of time this summer in Mukoka with Eja. ALOT of time. Saying he has not been up here in Ontario for months has been totally shot down by this source. The pickup of Eja as well as the drop off at the end of the visitation was carried on in Dorset Ontario on Lake of Bays...The transportation to and from the log home was carried out by water taxi(BOAT) out of Dorset even though the property has road access. Needless to say the time and inconvenience of water taxi as apposed to simply driving up the driveway for the pickup and drop off should tell you all you need to know about the current status of things between him and shania. Now in the end we all have the right to draw whatever conclusions you wish. We can draw from opinions that claim to know everything but without evidence or we can draw from locals who live there,cottage there, work there etc..AND...Who talk to the press..Folks...How do you think the press get their scoops..Exactly..Like Joe blows such as these people..No they can't always get there with their gigantic camera to grab the shot but it doesn't mean it didn't happen...ANYHOW..Draw your own conclusions... Interesting news, I of course can't say it is true or not because I don't know. But you would think that a camera guy would of got one photo of him since they were staking out where Shania and everybody went. Anyway, it doesn't matter now since Shania is in Switzerland and Mutt is finishing the album up in Vancouver with nickelback.
Thanks for the info bob, I really don't know what to make of it other then to say it is not a shock if it is true and life goes on.
Another thing I would like to add. If Shania and Mutt Lange are so bitter they can't talk to eachother as you are portraying here then they both have to grow up.
Me hearing about the poor little kid with the disease who wants to meet Shania puts things in perspective.I don't want to hear about her divorce or how they hate eachother or how they won't talk to eachother.It is has been 5 months already and if they can't grow up and get on with their lives then there is no hope for their child.
What I am confused about is that the image bobby and his sources are portraying is one of Shania and Mutt cold towards eachother and not forgiving anyone. The image many articles portray is one of Shania getting on with her life and doing whats best for Eja.
I don't know what is going on but I can make an educated observation.My observation is that Shania's small,small problems are nothing when you compare it to kids dying of diseases and fighting for their life.
So bobby, I hope your sources are wrong and that they are getting along and talking to eachother for Eja's sake.
Wow, I'm really surprised that things are that frosty between them. I've been picturing them trying to get along for Eja's sake but that's a bit too optimistic. I hope they can come to an understanding for Eja's sake.

If it is in Shania's mind that he cheated, as reported based on those"close" to her,then I can understand how him turning up on the doorstep of a cottage full of shania friends and realatives might be pretty tense. On the other hand,if it was a mutual falling apart, then I would have to agree with Walter. Also..Reports are that an elderly man with a cane spent alot of time with Shania..Does anyone have any read on who this might be??..Bobby boy

Doesn't matter bobby, it has been 5 months already and would think she would be smart enough to do whats best for Eja. First of all, we really don't know anything. Even if your sources are correct and Mutt was there picking up Eja and meeting him, it doesn't mean Mutt and Shania arent' talking. It just means he would be uncomfortable going to the cottage with her friends and family there. I think we may all be overblowing this whole thing.

bobby, heres my speculation and opinion. I said all along that I personally believe they were seperated a long time ago before the announcement but in that time they were seperated Mutt may of had an affair and that may of been the final straw for Shania. So while he may of had an affair I believe it was long after they seperated. Shania may of been ticked at him but I believe as Mutt said,"we were drifting apart" so who knows the truth? not me. It doesn't matter, it has been 5 months since the announcement and who knows how many months before that since they were seperated and went their seperate ways. Time to grow up for the sake of Eja.
I believe that they are talking though and that they are working things out.
Sorry I wanted to add another thing, you said why not just turn up to the cottage if it was a mutual breakup. It would be uncomfortable nomatter what the situation of the split to go to Shania's place where there might be family or friends.

Well, it might be fun for a 7 year old boy to travel by water a couple of times but if they are doing this everytime it kind of makes you scratch your head. Maybe they are aware that paparazi have staked out the property and this is one way to avoid them. I really don't know. In any event, having Mutt show up at the door might be very akward and maybe he is just trying to stay out of Shania's guests way?

In early 2007 Mutt and Shania were photographed in Donald Trumps hotel lobby. I don't know what they were doing there but they were in New York in March of 2007.

i think the info would kind of point to what Shania was saying, out of the blue, and the affair if there is that much bad blood,and 4 months isn't that long of a time if there was a affair with best friend

Hey Kayley....More frustration than anything...I have posted thousands of words describing everything about Dorset/Huntsville/Lake of bays and so on since I live here..I understand that many like yourself have an intrest on this stuff and this is why I do so. I understand with all the posts/replys etc that go on here that things can be hard to absorb. ...Needless to say though members would never miss a posting involving a wacked argument between 2 members as to if Shania drinks red wine or not... And YES..That is a shot but not at you personally...As I have said many times..Survivor series would not have last one season if all the tribe members got along..It needed the individual heated interaction to make it work.. This site is no different..I agree this site needs it and I contribute to the site is this respect. The flip side is when I post stuff like description of the area and it is only back page news I tend to find it frustrating and it really makes me question at times what draws alot of us here..Is it Shania or THE ACTION..Bobby boy
I only asked because i looked up lake of bays on the map and it's a pretty big place, yes Dorset is on there. So many things have been said on here about the whereabouts of Shania's property, it can get a little confusing, ie the switzerland propery ot dare i ask. So now i know Shania lives in Dorset, will try and look it up on google earth??? May i ask if she moves her horses around with her, being a horse woman myself i can imagine thats pretty hard, or are they all in new zealand????.
Hey Poppie..Yes I totally understand..As I have posted Lake of Bays sounds like it is one lake.. That is not true..It is a series of bodies of water that forms the "lake of bays. Dorest is very very small..Huntsville a short drive away is the true service town..Somewhere on this site you will find my posts.. I have posted the length of the shorlines,depths and even the reported water monster that many say lives in it..As far as horses.. NO..Way to hilly and solid granite rock..Shanias log home is modest compared to many in this area..Still beautiful though. It was built by a boating friend of mine..True North Log Homes. The area is very beautiful and borders what many canadians feel is the most peaceful National park in Canada..Algonquin National park...Google it. The area is full of lakes, bush, rock (not mountains but rock) as well as moose wolves etc. To give you an idea when travelling Hwy 60 at night,motarists fear moose running out more than collisions with cars..If you hit as moose the best you could hope for is ending up in the hospital as apposed to a funeral home...Anyhow..Anything else..Let me know..Bobby boy
Have you seen her house in Dorset?, i have tried to google earth it but it's hard to zoom in close enough, sorry about all the questions just interedsted thats all. Has she several cabins in one area? does'nt her sister live one too?. So where in Switzerland does she live now?

Shania doesn't live in Dorset, she only visits there in the summer. She splits her home base between Swtizerand and New Zealand. And she also visits her Carribean home every January. Yes, she has many beautififul horses and stable set up on her 30 million dollar estate in New Zealand. But she has 2 places in Switzerland and one is for her horses. so she has horses in Switz and New Zealand.
I believe she rides horses at a local stable, when she's in Muskoka. As for Mutt staying far away from her cabin, this is understable because of the awkwardness of the situation. I'm sure her family members and friends feel like for what he's done to Shania.
