I don't think any of you know the differences between a divorce and a separation. A divorce is something in which a couple goes to court and have their divorce documents finalized.
A separation is when a couple is not living together anymore, however, they are still married by law, even though they are living apart.
So, as a matter of fact, Shania is still quite married to Mutt, even though they are living apart.
Thanks for posting the difference between the two.
For the separation, is it anytime two married people are apart for a specified length of time (like months)? Are there any legal documents filed? To become "un-separated", is there anything that must be done (besides living together)?
Is there a difference between a separation and a legal separation? I thought that a legal separation would be where assests, property, etc... begin to be separated between the two parties and a separation is just where the two parties live apart.
