I know some of you fans do not like Gretchan Wilson we have are local fair from Oct. 1 to 13. Grethchan Wilson came on Oct 3 and did a concert at night. Before she did her concert she drove 30 miles out of her way to visit the children at the hospital. She may not be beautiful to some of you. But her beauty is in her heart. She is a very caring person. For what she did for the children I would take her before I would take Shania. Randy Travis came on Oct 10 he did the same thing and visited the children. Both are very friendly talk to them both. Shania wake up and do something beside laying on your back. If you kept laying on your back you may have more kids.

I agree with most of what you said about Shania but I dont' think bringing Gretchen one hit Wilson into this is a good point. Wilson is a d list act who needs to make appearances and shown to be nice to get more fans.

Shania is a music icon worldwide with an established fanbase who most will continue to follow her nomatter what.And she also lives in Switzerland where she does have some charity she attends.
But I agree having a big star like Shania make appearances and help charities in the States would bring attention to the charities and help.
Shania is a much bigger star that the acts you mentioned which means she should even do more.

Truth be told, we don't have a clue how much charity work she has actually done. She puts very little of her time into charities.
She has turned down live8,911 and Katrina charities always has an excuse for not attending those concerts.
Fans here all talk about how she does charity work when in reality 80% of celebs do way more and put in way more time and money.
For Shania's massive wealth and status she should be doing much more.
She once said that she doesn't accept letters because that would leave her no time to make music lol!!!!
She hasn't made music in many,many years and still excepts no letters.
Shania just makes exuses for everything and it is a combination of all her dishonety and attitude that some fans are now turned off.

i saw with my own  eyes in the STC  a 'thank you' letter to shania for her help to Katrina victims,i couldn't take a pic of it because it was inside the muesum and not in the lobby.

and what about all these people who work for 'Second Harvest' and similar organizations talking about shania's contribution all of these years??

as for the  9/11 concerts,are you kidding me??Eja was just a month old.
how she could leave him or take him with her to a transantlantic flight.
and you were the one that praised shania for not participating on the Live 8 concerts,now i see you have changed your mind,hmm.

we just can't see eye to eye and disagree in many issues,so lets forget it.

Kevy I do not care what Shania will do any more. Only thing on my mine is that little boy wanting to meet Shania. Every day I think about that little boy. Why can she make his wish come true. If she came out with a c.d. or tours I will not support her I'am done with Shania sorry to say. You guys know that I love her but no more because she will not talk to her fans. She will come to the fan when she needs something from then.

Shania has already been made very aware of this situation by her management and a package was sent out to her.
If she does meet him we will find out for sure since this request was made public by his aunt who will say if Shana met him

i think saying she's lost touch with reality is over the top but she is not fan friendly i would agree with that

I support Shania because I had a great ride with her 3 cds and had the opportunity to see her live 3 times. She put on a great show one of the best in the business and I had a lot of fun. I don't care that she is not fan friendly. I am not living just to hear more news about her. I know her to be a decent person who gives a lot to charity. She has been quietly very generous. I do not in anyway feel like Shania owes me anything. I can't imagine what it is like to resent her for not being fan friendly. As far as I am concerned it was a fun time. If she comes out with new music I will buy it and I will see her in concert again. I just do not understand the bitterness here.

Lets just be honest then if you don't care if she ever records again. Shania was in it for the money and was never passionate about music and she could careless what the fans think.

The final chapter has been written. It is too late for any comeback,she waited over 6 years doing  nothing but shopping and travelling and misleading the fans. She is in her mid forties and has lost all dignity and respect from real artists who love to perform for their fans and make music.
They probably laugh at Shania's excuses over the years.
You can't deny that Mutt made her a star and it is quite obvious now that he was the only driving force in her career. She wouldn't even of made the UP album without him.  She didn't even want to record after 911 she said.It was just another excuse to not make music. Most artist want to make their music to make people feel good but Shania tries anything in her power to not make music.
Yes, we can say, the final chapter has been written and Shania will be known as Mutt's puppet to the people in the industry. I am not saying I totally agree with that but Shania has no interest in proving herself and being strong.Her goal is to cry and make people feel sorry for her while she shops and travells and while Mutt is out making a great cd for Nickelback.

Kevy you sound like you are believing everything you say about Shania when in actual fact you don't know Her, You don't know Mutt and you have no authority to comment on her marriage, whether or not they have sex, (although it stands to reason they had sex at least once). Mutt pursued Shania she was 28 and she was swept off her feet they were madly in love. Shania has talked about how much she loved him many a time. I don't understand your bitterness and resentment of this woman. You got your money's worth from her for under a couple of hundred dollars you bought her cds and attended her concerts. That was the end of what she owed you. I don't blame shania for taking this break. It must of been difficult for her not agreeing with Mutt in the direction of her music. I don't think for a moment though did she think Mutt would have an affair. Mutt shares the blame as to why there is no new music. You blame when there is no reason to blame. Your resentment and bitterness comes out in every post you make. It is unwarranted.

I never she didn't grow to care for him in some way. But nobody here knows their true relationship, it was odd from the start.

This is from my collection that I found it was written about 14 years ago by A.D. Roberts.
Toby Keith witnessed Shania determination early on. By 1993 Shania was in Nashville and had released her self- titled first album. It was an okay, chick singer album that reflected Nashville's lingering doubt about the viability of female artists. Shania was not happy with it, but she did what the label wanted to promote it including the "Triple Play Tour." Mercury Records decide to launch their thee baby acts simultaneously. They devised a tour tour that featured Shania, Toby Keith and John Brannen and put them on the road. By the end of the tour, Toby was the only artist whose career had taken off thanks to hitting number one with his debut single, Should've Been a Cowboy. Toby says he was reaady to cash in and tour on his own. Shania, he says had different ideas. Shania said, I'm not going to do anything, I'm not going to do any touring or moneymaking until I have enough hits to headline in a coliseum, that's what I do, Toby remembers.And I thought it was the most ridiculous thing I ever heard and I thought she was nuts, you know. Why miss out on the chance to be financially successful? That may never come? Of course, now she selling right up there with Garth, so more power to her.
By the end of 1993, Shania had met and married pop producing superstar, Mutt Lange. He had the money and the clout to work with Shania to write and produce her unique and sensational second album, The Woman in Me, that began spitting out red hot singles like a musical volcano, and the rest as they say is history.

It wasn't true love at all and Shania even said she wasn't into him romantically at first. She was only interested in how he could help her career.
This whole relationship was very odd from the start and everyone knows that it was a strange relationship.

Hi Tina. I agree with you Mutt is tall and blond and the few photos I have seen of him I did not notice a potbelly lol. Your right though if a person does not have a sense of humour and is not a nice guy well those are the qualities we should see in all persons
