Thats correct...12.5 percent of shania's early recordings are up for sale..Ownership rights of these recordings allow them to be played on radio and TV anywhere in the world..Ownership would give you 12.5 percent of the play rights including revenues from those plays from her very early music..

All rights are currently registered with SOCAN CANADA The rights were purchased from Harry Hinde Not sure if this has been offered before and note, alot of the other songs from the limelight era are not listed .. Having said that,the sell on this opportunity indicates the return potential is huge and further indicates that a CD is in the works that will include all of these songs while obvious others are not included from that limelight era..First time I have ever heard of this..Having said that,I can only assume if others on this site had read about this release I would have read it on forums as no doubt it would have been posted..Does anyone else ever remember this release being discussed on this site before..If so..please advise as I would be intrested in reading more about it. The price I have no idea,the sell on a new CD seems like a stretch..Having said that trying to get someone to invest in a company that sold bottled water 50 years ago would also have been met with laughter I suppose
