So have I.  I am also painfully introverted but found the courage to post mine.  You should go for it.  Unless you let others read them what good are they doing in a drawer?  Take a chance.  I'd like to read someone else's stuff for a change.  I see my own all the time.  What's the worst that can happen.  Someone doesn't like it.  Well you know what if they do post and say they don't like it ask them to do better.  If they do do better then oh well that's life besides I'm sure yuo didn't start writing for the praise or attention.  You do it because you love doing it and it is something that helps you to deal with whatever you need to deal with.  Things I can't say to someone can come out in this form.  It has to come out somewhere and somehow and we only live once.  Please share with us.

Thought I would give you another little something to read while we pass the Shanialess time.  Wrote this after the depressing no cd announcement deal when lots of people over here were attacking each other over stupid stuff and I was angry with myself for not being able to stop being a fan of Shania's and was angry at her for not letting me go.  Enjoy!!!

Something new for you to ponder as we wait for news.  I wrote this one after watching the movie Fireproof and thinking about how hard it must have been to let go of a marriage and love after 15 years and wondering why Mutt and Shania couldn't have tried the love dare.  Enjoy!!

Thanks for the kind words.  This is how I express myself.  I enjoy it but at times it can make you feel very vulnerable especially posting them for everyone to read.  Hope maybe someday she will read just one and have something to say.  Not exactly up to her calibur but it was inspired by her so that is something in itself.

I've always been able to do it.  I've been doing it a long time.  Can't sing or play an instrument but I love using words.  I always carry a pen and paper with me.

Here is another poem inspired by Shania.  I wrote it for the Mother's Day Contest.  Didn't win it but that's Ok as I am just glad that it inspired me to write this for my Mom who is the absoulute best.  She hasn't read it yet as I am waiting until tomorrow to give it to her.  Enjoy!!

          My Momma’s Love 

My mom she’s struggled and worked hard for so long
So that her family could grow and always be strong
She’s worked and sacrificed almost all her life
Struggling to be the best mom and a wife
Sometimes it seemed she never got time to rest
Tryin’ to make sure we always had the best
No time for herself
Never asking anyone for help
Never saw a time when she seemed weak
And for all her work nothing in return does she seek
And in her eyes you can see the love
And I know she must be an angel sent straight from God above
And there’s nothing stronger than a mother’s love
She works her fingers to the bone to make this house a home
And if love had the value of money I could never give her enough
Because there is nothing that is worth more than a mother’s love
