UPDATE 1: A booking agent confirms to us that she will NOT be making any concert appearances until 2012.

UPDATE 2: A rep. for Shania tells ZackTaylor.ca that Shania is NOT pregnant - However, it wouldn't be the first time a rep. has denied pregnancy reports that end up becoming true.

I don't think this rumor is true, but it wouldn't surprise me either if it was. At this point it seems like a new baby is just as likely to happen as a new album. hmm

Geez, she would be 45 years old when the baby is born. Bet she wished she had put out her last album and did her farewell tour.

It's about time that Ms. Twain told her fans what to expect in regards to any new music .. or none.

She said some times in interviews that she doesn’t want more children because she grew up in big family and knows that children’s relations can be difficult. So as she doesn’t want her children to have conflicts or something she doesn’t want more that one.

we should be getting a new blog, any day now shouldnt we, cant wait too see what she has to say, she cant talk about travelling and events because the last 2 months she has been in the carribean, hopefully its music related.

I agree and besides which having a baby is a lot of hard work, she can just about manage her time with having one child with the type of career she has. As many fans will recall Shania refrained from flying when she was pregnant with Eja, and with all the jetsetting she's been doing lately to the Caribbean and so forth, I don't see how there can be any truth to the rumour. If she decided to have as second child then this would severly disrupt any plans for getting a new album close to completion.

Ummm. I think that pehaps this sentiment would be accurate back in the 90's. But now she is on Holiday 24/7; she has ALL the time in the world to raise another child. I am not saying that she is pregnant or not. But it is certainly not a time issue. Most women in the U.S. raise more than one kid and work 7 days a week. Shania has millions and has no job and no responsiblities.

Personally (not just talking about Shania) I think that it is selfish to have just one child. I think that kids need siblings. I teaches them so much about sharing, getting along, etc...and it gives them someone to be bonded with for life; long after the parent(s) are gone.

Well, I can't believe that Shania would have another child at her age. I heard her once in an interview on CMT Canada saying she wanted only one child. Eja has lots of cousins and would never be alone. Unless she's decided otherwise now that she's met Fred, that is. I still believe that 45 is too old to bring another child into this world .. especially the way things are today.

Im not saying i believe the rumor, but i think you can't hold Shania to things she said when she was married to Mutt.A lot has changed in her life.Children are a lot of work,but come on.Women work and have babies all the time and their not rich.

Very true, Shania is her own person now, and she is nothing like she was with mutt, to her now nothing matters, i can see, she doesnt even care when the music is out, if it takes 10 years it takes 10 years, and she is alot more layed back, Fred is also a different kinda character too, and there are aspects of her and freds life now that are rather strange.

Shania Twain is not having no baby. I am not shocked that she was not present at the Vancouver Olympics because she ran with the torch which was great enough. I was in Timmins that cold night I assure you Shania was not having no baby. We have to realize she is writing for her new album to be out later this year and I think we need to put more trust in her because Mutt is not writing with her she is writing these songs herself which can take time but we will see a CD this Year as to when who knows but one thing is for sure I am excited and can not wait. If you are a true Shania Twain fan you know she keeps her promises.

It doesnt have anything to do with us either way, she can have another baby if she wants. If she thinks Fred is her partner for life she has that right to have a baby with him, as ppl said things have changed since she made comments before so we should not hold her to those. It might be her last chance to have another child but an album can wait she can do that anytime.
