It's hard to believe it has been a lengthy 10 years since the last studio album by country superstar, Shania Twain! Selling 75 million records worldwide and having the largest selling album by any female artist with the 1997 "Come On Over" album, she has also made a place of a short career with huge success! There have been several female artists who have had high rising careers with fame and fortune, and when they was at the top of their game, they decided to take a break and step out of the spotlight. Artists who have done this and return with the same impact include Reba Mcentire, Dolly Parton, Sara Evans, and a few others. But one name stands out the most, the largest selling country music singer, Shania Twain! She has finally made her return! "Today Is Your Day" was her first single in 6 years, but this time released as a promtional single, in order to promote her series "Why Not? With Shania Twain." Now we wait for that moment she will release music, patiently like so many fans have for years. She has currently had 4 singles in a row to miss the top 20. Is this a trend we could see out of the star, or will she finally pick up where she left off since her "Up!" album in 2002???
