Shania shows a different side of her with "Today Is Your Day" verses songs with Mutt. It seems like she finally gets to write what she wants verses what Mutt wants. This is good. I just wonder if Shania wrote most of her music before and Mutt just changed original words to his own twists to get his name under the song writing position. Who knows? We all still wonder what type of love songs she will have on this album and so on with her own writing.

I Love TIYD, that is the Shania magic. There were songs Shania wrote but after Mutt saw them he decided to change them entirely that was Half- Ok since they worked together but it is obvious she was in his shadow, creatively speaking . We should all feel blessed for this new way for Shania, we've not seen 5% of what Shania musically can really give Logan ... She is free.
I honestly think Mutt was more interested in making a song sound commercial and to attract listeners and radio to play them, that's always been the way he has worked with his artists. To him sales were more important than good reviews or artistic credibility ever were. I get the feeling that wasn't really what Shania was about and she was always a more folky/acoustic/country low key singer who would prefer just to strum her guitar and forget all the studio gimmicks.
From what I have read before, Mutt was more involved with the music and production and Shania with the lyrics
