H.E. Mathu Joyini, High Commissioner of Republic of South Africa to attend special event in Bahamas

The Starlight Global Foundation to host signature event: A Night of Inspiration
On the heels of the first ever Majority Rule Holiday and as South Africa celebrates twenty (20) years of freedom, Starlight Global and the South African High Commission are honoring the life of former South African President, the late Nelson Mandela for his devotion to the fight for freedom and his contribution to humanity. Starlight Global recognizes the vital role played by key figures in the Bahamas in the release of Mr. Nelson Mandela from prison.
This Saturday, January 11th, The Starlight Global Foundation, Andbank, and The South African High Commission will host “A Night of Inspiration” under the stars in an open air concert featuring musical performances by World Choir Games double gold medal winners, The Bahamas National Youth Choir, as well as The Bahamas National Symphony Orchestra, The Nassau City Opera Company, The Bel Canto Singers, The Bahamas All Stars Band and other selected local and international artists.
Mr. Werner Gruner, founder of Starlight Global is considered Honorary Consul of South Africa, will be hosting this event as a celebration of inspirational lives that have transformed the world for the 21st century. The event is sponsored by Andbank and Starlight Global (non profit organization), and supported by The Nelson Mandela Foundation. Andbank, lead sponsor, and the South African High commission are strategic partners of the event. Supporting partners include The Atlantis Resort and BMW.
High Commissioner of the Republic of South Africa to the Caribbean, Her Excellency, Mrs. Mathu Joyini, is expected to arrive in the Capital early Thursday afternoon, January 9th.
Starlight Global and the South African High Commission are honoring the life of former South African President Nelson Mandela in his 95th year of gracing the world with his extraordinary life.
Apart from a c0cktail reception under the distinguished patronage of Her Excellency, The High Commissioner of the Republic of South Africa to the Caribbean, Mrs. Mathu Joyini, a "Night of Inspiration 2014" will also feature musical performances by World Choir Games double gold medal winners, The Bahamas National Youth Choir, as well as The Bahamas National Symphony Orchestra, The Nassau City Opera Company, The Bel Canto Singers, The Bahamas All Stars Band and other selected international artists.
