This message is for those of you saying she sounds bad and can't perform anymore:
You guys have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. I just saw Shania last night in Indianapolis, and I must say she sounds AMAZING. She really has gotten her voice back, and it's crazy for you guys to judge based off of videos taken with crappy cell phone cameras. I have seen her twice before... I saw her during the Up! Live in Chicago taping and in Indianapolis on the Up! tour back in 2003. This concert was BETTER than either of those, and her voice sounded better than it did back then. Don't fool yourself by watching her official concert videos (from before 2004) and using those to judge her voice then vs. now. If you pay attention to those videos, you will hear how much they overdubbed her voice with album studio vocals. It's crazy how OBVIOUS it is to me now when I watch those DVDs and notice when they switch the audio from live to studio vocals. The Still The One Live in Vegas DVD is what I believe is the FIRST DVD of hers that they didn't overdub her voice with album studio vocals. Sure, they did a bit of editing and tuning up for the DVD release, but that is done with ALL artists, no matter who they are.
In addition to her voice being in great shape, this is HER BEST tour so far. You guys really need to see it. It rocks so much. The production is AMAZING. The lighting, pyro, stage etc is just out of this world. She performs like she never left the stage, and I find it insane that any of you are criticizing her as if she can't sing or perform anymore. She is better than EVER, and she looks better than ever! Please go see the show before making any judgment on her abilities!
I just attended the Rock This Country tour in Miami and I agree with everything that you're saying! The show was extremely high-energy and Shania was definitely at the top of her game. She was equally amazing when I saw her in Vegas in October 2014. Both shows exceeded all of my expectations. You really need to see the show in person to experience and appreciate the magnitude of Shania and the entire production, but I've posted some clips that should, hopefully, awaken the Doubters.
