We'll be able to listen to a 1:30 clip of the all the songs on Little Miss Twain on Apple Music - New Zealand at 8:00am ET tomorrow (Thursday) morning.
The album is amazing. Northern Town is perfection! Stranger Things is gonna be on repeat for sure. Down the Middle is very Dusty Springfield coded - love it. Scary Little Thing is another fave. Not a bad song on the album.
Waiting for just about an hour from my side of the world. Can’t wait to hear the Little Miss Twain album. I’m especially excited for Stranger Things, Northern Town and Rockstars.
Stranger Things, Right Time, Quit My Life and Scary Little Thing are good. Other than that I'm not impressed with the album. It can put you to sleep. Queen Of Me is so much better!

Based on the 1:30 minute clips alone (I'll listen to the full album when it comes out in the US tomorrow), "Stranger Things," "Little Miss Twain," "Northern Town," and "Rockstars" are my favorite. I am sure once I hear the full songs, my opinion will change.
The album is about her childhood. I wouldn't expect energetic upbeat music. It is the kind of album she hasn't done which is good. The Queen of me was great but I personally like this one better. I prefer this Shania Twain. Its Raw and it's real.
Hello friends, the dawn of a new album coming out causes such great anxiety in me. It’s more vulnerable this album than previous ones and I’m hoping that the evolution and reflection are both enjoyed equally. It would mean a lot to me if you could take a listen at home or buy the record and let me know what you think…
I just want to take this moment to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the love you've shown me. This album has taken me right back to where it all began. It’s been emotional, funny, surreal, healing and very full circle. I mean… THE Tanya Tucker singing on a song dedicated to my mother, who was such a huge fan of hers?! I also got to rock out with Josh Homme on Faded Blue Jeans, which was such a cool moment for me. You know I adore rockstars… and he is a ROCKSTAR. And recording Take It To The River with The War And Treaty was such a beautiful experience - their voices have so much soul, it’s impossible not to feel every note.
Thank you for listening, pre-ordering, commenting, sharing, showing up, singing along and making me feel like these memories belong to all of us now. I never take that for granted. I cannot wait for you to hear the whole album and tell me what you think. If you haven’t already, you can own Little Miss Twain in your favourite format - CD, vinyl (my personal favourite), digital, however you prefer!
Love Little Miss Twain xx

On first listen, these were the highlights for me: Stranger Things, Dirty Rosie, Little Miss Twain, Quit My Life, Faded Blue Jeans, Down The Middle, Take it to the River, Rockstars and We Just Met. I especially love the harmonies on Rockstars. It reminds me so much of The Carpenters and I always thought her voice resembled Karen’s. While the album’s not as strong as Queen of Me, it’s still really enjoyable and I’m sure I’ll like it more and more with repeated listens.
It's obviously an experimental album. It's not clicking right now for me, which is disappointing because I consider myself a MASSIVE fan and I never thought that Shania would release something that I wouldn't enjoy or wouldn't be excited for. It's not all terrible and I might grow. Only time will tell.
I said it before and I'll say it again, she needs to learn to sing with her new voice. I think having a vocal coach would do wonders for her. Her voice is not terrible but sometimes it's painful to listen to. Dirty Rose is still the worst of the bunch for me due to her voice, although it sounds better live.
Ok after the first listen I can say I like the first half of the album better. "That's The Money" and "Down The Middle' need to be listened more carefully, they don't click immediatly. I'm not crazy about " Rockstars " and it doesn't make sense AT ALL the spanish guitar on "Northern Town"
Absolutely loving this new material! ❤️ Little Miss Twain is a fantastic addition to Shania's incredible catalog. Once again, she proves she's never afraid to take risks by blending different musical styles while staying true to who she is. That fearless versatility has always been one of her trademarks.
My personal favorites so far:
Upbeat -
1. Quit My Life
2. Stranger Thing
3. Right Time
4. Faded Blue Jeans
5. Dirty Rosie
Mellow/Slow Track -
1. I'll Be Loving Me
2. Little Miss Twain
3. Take It to the River
4. Northern Town
5. Rockstars

Also, loving Rockstars... her voice shines there!
This is the most misdirected comment. She does know how to sing with her new voice. it’s gorgeous. it works so well!
Shania's brand new seventh studio album, Little Miss Twain, is now available worldwide on streaming platforms including the U.S. and Canada! The album is also available on Shania's YouTube channel which includes song visualizers from the album photo shoot.

What on earth are you talking about?! I absolutely LOVE her new voice! Amazing album. I'm so happy!
Stranger Things has me feeling happy, nostalgic and sad. I lost my best friend, former boyfriend and soulmate this Past month. (say soulmate as we were working to be back together, i love him and we have been working on it for almost 20 years and we’re only apart for his schooling)
he sadly passed before we could make things offixal. This song makes me think of him.
Ugh this album has me in the feels

I have only listened to a handful of the songs so far but I am enjoying the album so far sonically and lyrically. Some of these songs I could easily see on TWIM, COO, or UP! I truly believe this is some of her best work since UP! and I enjoyed the NOW and QOM albums! I love the different arrangement and sounds. I also love how much she involved Eja in this album.
This is her best work since up. Everyone has there own options but Northern Town is my favorite however I am not sure as there so so many songs I am crying over. Her best work yes I said it. This is the Shania people will love. Her roots. Raw and real. 10/10

Yes! The songs fit her voice really well! I loved both of the last two album! I hope this is an successful album!
I'm completely obsessed with this album! It's so good. I absolutely LOVE her voice. I love how country it is overall. Absolutely incredible work! WOW. I'm smiling ear to ear in between crying. I'm so happy. There isn't a bad song on it, but my BIG highlights are:
1. Northern Town - Probably my very favorite. Has me in tears. Beautiful song. So well written.
2. Rockstars - Has me in the feels. Reminiscing of younger days.
3. Stranger Things - Obsessed. Will be on repeat. SO catchy.
4. Problematic - I'm obsessed with her vocals on this track. WOW. Just stunning.
5. Little Miss Twain - Fire vocals. I love hearing Tanya's voice on this. One of the best songs she has ever written.
6. Quit My Life - What a BOP. Reminds me of early 90s Tanya Tucker songs for some reason. I'm a huge Tanya fan too.
7. Scary Little Thing - LOVE the production on this one! An absolute banger!
8. Dirty Rosie - I'm team LOVE Dirty Rosie. Love the funky groove.
9. I'd Be Loving Me - So good. Love the chorus!
10. That's The Money - So funky and FUN!

I’m really loving this album. So hard to pick a favorite song. There are so many unexpected sounds and choices made on each song. Has anyone been able to get a Target or Walmart album with the bonus track?
Just finished my first listen and OMG, the album is absolutely incredible. There is not one song I don't like. Much like all her other albums, this one will be on heavy repeat for me.
I stand corrected. I’m on my second listen and it’s better than expected. It flows nicely and her voice is not bad at all. That said, I don’t see me having it on repeat as I did with QoM but it’s still a good listen.
I still stand by my comment regarding getting a vocal coach. I still think she would benefit from it, especially when singing her older songs.
This one means so much and now it’s yours. Listen loud, from top to bottom, and come home with me to Northern Ontario, Canada ❤️
Little Miss Twain and those formative years of my life were just a distant private memory until recently and now it’s a shared story. The same as the album, it was mine and now ‘Little Miss Twain’ is ours! Please take a listen and see if it speaks to you. I’m full of anxiety and excitement at the response but even if you find one lyric that speaks to you or makes you feel something I’ll be happy. The emotional journey on this album was a true rollercoaster and there were moments where I felt like I was sitting with my younger self while my mother looked over me. It was very painful at times, but telling some of these stories out loud was also incredibly healing, and then there was the fun and laughter... There are songs here that are also about good vibes, summer days and feeling good! Thank you for going into the next chapter with me - its not easy to evolve as an artist and keep your people with you but you’ve been loyal and supportive through it all. shaniatwain.lnk.to/littlemisstwain
I want to thank the many incredible musicians who worked on this record with me (you all know who you are). It was a privilege to collaborate with you and so many new memories were made while telling this story which I’ll treasure forever. Here are just a few - Thank you to @fred_thiebaud for recording these special moments and for everything you do for me ❤️
Accidentally writing a song during drinks with friends 😂 @ronniewood@nisijoy
Google AI says there’s an exclusive bonus track called “What’s Going on in There” that is sold at HMV, which is apparently a famous British entertainment retail chain.
I’ve just had a couple of listens to the album. Stranger Things and the singles are the standout tracks. Problematic, Scary Little Thing and I’d Be Loving Me are my least favourites, I don’t think I will listen to them again.
All in all, not her best album. But the best ones are written solely by Shania which is such a positive thing!
However, she needs Mutt back, at least as producer.
16. We just met (itunes & mattagami river editions)
17. Hate that way (amazon edition)
18. Trippin' on good luck ( target edition)
19. what's going on in there (hmv edition)
Sending this album off into the world in the best way I know how... singing these songs with my fans 🥰 Thank you for coming out to @racketnewyork and recreating a different time. Thank you for believing in this small town girl from Northern Ontario. You kept my release day nerves at bay, appreciate you.
