Just got the Amazon Exclusive. “Hate That Way” is sooooo good! It is one of my favorites out of the entire album - and I’m a big lover of the entire album.
Good song! Should've been one of the 15 and left off a song like "Problematic".

I didn't listen to this song yet but personally I would have left off songs like " That's The Money " and "Down the Middle". This last one got deleted from my playlist on Apple Music.
Today, Little Miss Twain is No. 13 on the overall iTunes U.S. chart and No. 3 on the Country iTunes U.S. chart. Still No. 1 on iTunes Canada chart.
Today, Little Miss Twain is down to No. 19 on the overall iTunes U.S. chart and No. 4 on the Country iTunes U.S. chart. Down to No. 2 on iTunes Canada chart. No. 8 on iTunes UK chart. No. 9 on iTunes Worldwide chart.

I must be the only person who likes "Problematic." I do find it odd she doesn't have a writing credit on the song. I never thought we would see the day where that happened again.
Charli XCX makes fast start in pursuit of second No.1 album of 2026
By Ben Homewood | Music Week - UK | July 27, 2026
Charli XCX could land her fourth No.1 album in a row with Music, Fashion, Film.
Her eighth album in total has 15,174 sales so far, with 12,009 from physical, 893 from downloads and 2,272 from streams. With Sunday’s streaming data yet to be counted, it is joined in the Top 3 by new entries from Snow Patrol (an anniversary edition of Eyes Open, 7,473 sales) and Shania Twain (Little Miss Twain, 5,869 sales).
I absolutely love the album so, so much! My vinyls were delivered today and I'm very sad that 3 songs were omitted from the vinyl edition. Quit My Life and Scary Little Thing are two of my favorites. That's so disappointing. I don't understand why you would do that. Give us a double LP with every song. I'm honestly not happy about it.

I agree. It seems kinda cheap leaving out three songs? Leaving out Quit My Life is a disgrace too.
Also confused by the different order of the tracks.

Right?! The order makes no sense either. I never complain about what she does career wise, but I'm very unhappy about this. I could forgive the weird track order, but omitting the songs is ridiculous. I would have happily paid more to have every song on a double LP.
Shania Twain ‘Little Miss Twain’ Review: Back in the Saddle but Still a Little Wobbly
The album corrects course with warm, rootsy arrangements that suit Twain’s voice.
By Paul Attard | Slant | July 27, 2026
Score: 3 out of 5 stars
Shania Twain’s 2023 album Queen of Me chased contemporary pop trends so aggressively that you could be mistaken for thinking you were listening to Meghan Trainor. Her follow-up, Little Miss Twain, corrects course with warm, rootsy arrangements that suit her current voice and recover the balance between pop immediacy and country texture that gave her best albums their singular character.
Dysphonia and the surgery Twain underwent back in 2018 to treat it have left the singer’s voice heavier and less flexible, yet most of these songs are built to maximize those changes. Opener “Stranger Things” is the glaring exception, with an eyebrow-raising amount of sour pitch and vocal fry, but even the dense, polished production on “Scary Little Thing” keeps Twain’s roughest edges from sitting at the center of the mix.
Little Miss Twain fares worst when its writing slips into the language of self-care pop. Twain’s vocal delivery on “Right Time” gives the track more nuance than its lyrics deserve, with wary pauses after “honestly” and “personally” that lend the verses a conversational tension. Flickers of banjo help keep the song buoyant, but the chorus reduces freedom from a bad relationship to drinking martinis on the beach.
Conversely, “Quit My Life” turns clichés about dirty dishes and stolen me-time into something funny, vulnerable, and catchy, while the album’s title track finds greater emotional weight in Twain’s memory of her mother predicting she would become “the next Tanya Tucker,” with Tucker herself appearing on the chorus. “Northern Town” builds its nostalgia from plain, impressionistic details from Twain’s youth—Dairy Queen cones, long trains, her uncle Sonny falling into a chair—and her weathered voice helps give those memories the weight of lived time.
It makes sense, then, that the album’s strongest moment brings those virtues together. “Rockstars” gradually adds drums, bass, and backing vocals without crowding Twain out, and her performance grows more commanding as the track builds. There is, musically speaking, nothing rock ‘n’ roll about the song, but it’s poignant for its insistence that real rock stars—and the attitude they embody—never truly grow old.
Seeing Little Miss Twain out in the world this weekend has been one of those “pinch me” moments ❤️ After spending so much time writing, recording, and dreaming up this album, there’s nothing quite like finally holding it in your hands... and knowing it’s now in yours too. Thank you for making this release week so special!! 🥰

I think the album may have been originally slated for the fall. Look at this from the DuJour article:
"Since she’d just be turning in the latest album, Twain expected to take the summer off. She wanted to ride horses. To cook. (Lentil soup for her 25-year-old son, Eja; her special vegetable casserole of cheese, broccoli, cauliflower, peas and carrots for her husband, Frédéric Thiébaud.) Play lots of tennis. Write more music. “I take writing very seriously,” Twain says. Think about the jukebox musical of her songs that’s in development. Spend time between the Bahamas and Switzerland, where she has homes.
“I love the Canadian nature,” she says. “I love being in a tent. I love sleeping outside. I love cooking on a fire. I love the Exumas. I love the Caribbean. I love the waters. I love just being in the water and forgetting about the rest of life.”
To that end, Twain says, “I wasn’t planning on doing anything this summer. I’d already decided in my mind that I wasn’t getting on the stage.”
And then Styles reached out."
None of that sounds like she was planning to release the album (and run the press gauntlet) in July. If the album wasn't meant to come out until September or October, that could explain the abbreviated track list on the records. Vinyl pressings usually require a six month lead time; in order the expedite the order, they may have needed it to be a single disc. And releasing in tandem with the London concerts would have been too good a marketing opportunity to pass up.
That said, it's criminal that Quit My Life didn't make the track list.

I've finally finished draft one of the digital booklet. There could be changes and updates to eventually come. Open for suggestions, comments and revisions. Enjoy!

You're a good man, with a big heart
And I know you never lie.
Maybe that's why, we haven't talked, we haven't touched
In such a long, long time.
Before it's too late, please wait
Before you cross that line.
Tell me what's on your mind
What's going on in there? (What's goin' on?)
Have you got your hands in her hair (What's goin' on?)
Are you doing what I'm thinking
Oh honey, you're scaring me
What's going on in there? (What's goin' on?)
We both promised, to be faithful
For the rest of our lives.
But if your heart (if your heart) is already gone
My love, it's just a matter of time.
I see the signs, I'm not blind.
Before you cross that line
Tell me, cause I can't read your mind
What's going on in there? (What's goin' on?)
Have you got your hands in her hair? (What's goin' on?)
Are you doing what I'm thinking?
Oh honey, you're scaring me

tripping song is only released on the hmv vinyl or also on the hmv cd edition? it's rare the other 3 have been leaked but this one not yet.
It's also rare she has not done yet any digital release with bonus to increase sales to achieve a better place in charts, the others use to release different digital editions to do it, maybe for black friday christmas sales we will get a deluxe digital edition
not the correct info in the presales, they could/should explain clearly vinyl was 12 tracks and cd 15...
just a few listening parties and a visit to a store in nyc by shania.
no digital special editions
queen of me was so much promoted and she focused in getting the uk number one with too much promo and a hard first week but this album the promo is 0
as i said in later post this album was focused to country not to mainstream and i think is something shania wanted to release , everytime we see videos of her in bahamas and little sessions we see that kind of music but universal/republic was not happy with it, and said ok, release it but there will be no money on it.
after 100 million records, 30 years and in her 60's, if she cannot do whatever she wants she would be in a problem, she's rich and with writting royalties she could be livin without releasing nothing new so as a fan i think we must enjoy it as she don't releases so much music for so many reasons and we don't know for how long we will get more music.

I’m not surprised, the US promotion has been pretty weak. Today I was finally able to listen to the album and it’s very good and well produced…There are no hit poppy songs like Waking Up Dreaming or Giddy Up but it’s much more cohesive than Queen of Me album. The first single choice was totally wrong and the lack of promotion in US probably damaged the album sales.

Her label will not ever drop her. She is a music icon and it's not like she is losing money for them. Shania will make albums as long as she wants on that label at her own pace. They really don't have much of a say. She is a woman 60 years old and an artist like her rarely has top albums in this digital age. She will have a top 5 album in u.k. and Australia and Canada and in u.s. around top 20.
I’m the right side of wrong
I’m a bright ball of fun
I’m confetti at the wedding
Yeah, I’m the bubbles in your champagne
I’m the “happy” in the birthday.
Good to the bone.
I make sugar Out of stone.
If you know me, then you know
I’m a little unicorn
Catch me dancing in the snow
There was a time
I could’ve took a life
It was an eye for an eye
And you were an eye
There was a time
I was desperate for revenge
Wanted blood on my hands
I hope I never hate that way again
I hope I never hate that way again
Forget, Forgive
But sometimes it depends
I hope I never hate that way….
Hope I never hate that way again.
I’m shook, there are plenty
You choose which one of me
That you get
I got sweet, I got sour.
Oh, tell me do you want the thorn,
Or do you want the flower.
There was a time
I could’ve took a life
It was an eye for an eye
And you were an eye
There was a time
I was desperate for revenge
Wanted blood on my hands
I hope I never hate that way again
I hope I never hate that way again
Forget, Forgive
But sometimes it depends
I hope I never hate that way….
Hope I never hate that way again.
(I’m not sure how completely accurate the lyrics are. I did my best trying to transcribe.)
Thank you @Mark and @czm8888 for the lyrics to What's Going On In There and Hate That Way! I can't wait to eventually hear these songs. Especially Hate That Way. Those lyrics are wild lol.
I'm just missing the target track Trippin' On Good Luck now.
You all do know this is A Canadian record right? It is more about her upbringing in Canada and the struggles. Her record label knew it wouldn't do well in the USA but that wasn't the plan. The album will do well in Canada.. At this stage in Shanias career she doesn't need to sell records. The queen of me didn't do that well either and you all praise it. Shanias days of selling records and having hit singles are over. She hasn't had a hit in over twenty years and the only album that did moderately okay was her album now. She's soon about to announce a tour. Im expecting her to retire after this tour and maybe one more record. Regardless we all have to accept Shania has had an amazing career and still sells out at international tours. Let's just enjoy Shania because life's to short to worry about if this album will be a hit. This was the worst promotion I've ever seen and the lead single was a disaster

I like this album, I do agree that's it's probably the last tour soon! I loved all the album that Shania did after Mutt! I would love if Shania just performance songs from those three album but I know fans would not agree.

I don't agree that this will probably be her last tour. Shania has shown a loving of performing (hence the reason she announced her "final" tour over a decade ago and is still going strong). Even with her performing in bars these past few months, she shows that she loves it so I don't think she's ready to give that up yet. As long as her voice holds, I think she'll continue performing and making music.

Hate That Way is pretty catchy. She sounds great on it too.

I agree with you, as long as her voice allows she'll keep touring a recording. The Rock This Country Tour was supposed to be her last because her preparation to sing before the shows (warm ups) were gruelling and time consuming but due to her throat surgery, she does't require the extended warming up for shows. She's said that as long as her "crutches" hold up she would keeping going and she's not hinting that she plans to stop touring or recording. I don't think her future tours will be as big/long as they were before though. I don't think Little Miss Twain will be a big tour, if she does tour, since she was supposed to be more lowkey this summer/rest of year.

I would love if Shania does an intimate tours like in the bar she did in Canada!
she's still strong selling tickets so i think maybe we still could have 2 more tours and maybe 2-3 vegas residency and maybe it's time to start thinking in those albums that artist use to release when they get "old" (christmas albums, classics...) i really would like those projects if she could mix her own recordings with the covers and some christmas classics. we all know studio does magic and studio recordings can sound good, live performances are where shania suffers more and so much people get disappointed.
I still can see 6-8 good years on tours and then just releasing those projects.
I just listened to Hate That Way and OMG!!! I love it! This song, out of all the LMT songs would have the potential to be a hit. Should have been part of the deluxe 15-track album instead of Problematic since she didn’t write that one.
What’s Going On In There is nothing to fuss about. It’s not terrible; it’s a slow song and could fit on her debut album.
